Durable and safe outdoor furniture for schools

To meet the needs of a primary school, we designed and manufactured a custom-made fibre cement bench chest from our IMAGE’IN range. This robust, durable and secure outdoor furniture features a removable seat made of raw exotic wood, ideal for school use. We choose to use materials that are long-lasting and perform well over time, to offer quality products that are suitable for outdoor use.

Outdoor bench and storage, designed with children in mind

To make it easier for pupils to handle, the seat is not made from a single panel. It is divided into three separate sections, which are lighter and easier to lift.
This system allows children to access the storage space in the chest themselves. The wooden lid is made from slatted panels. It is not waterproof and is suitable for storing items that are not sensitive to moisture.
Also, to enhance safety, we have designed the corners and edges of the fibre cement chest with a rounded radius, limiting the risk of impact and providing a softer touch in a busy environment.

• 15 mm HD NT fibre cement, compliant with EN 12467 (category A, class 4)
• Non-combustible material (A2-s1,d0)
• Rot-proof, frost-resistant and resistant to saline or chlorinated environments
• High-performance two-component epoxy assembly
• PU paint + varnish for excellent outdoor durability
• Seat made of raw exotic wood, a stable and durable material whose colour evolves into a natural silver grey
Furthermore, as with all our products, this storage bench is 100% custom-made, manufactured in France in our workshop in Touraine.
